There was one particular year in American history when many spectacular and one of a kind events were taking place across our country: the Sears Tower was completed, the rock band Kiss went on tour for the first time, Hank Aaron breaks Babe Ruth’s record, the Safe Drinking Water Act was passed, Richard Nixon resigns the office of President – and Tom and Judy Harmeling established Ridge Energy Savers. The year? 1974.

The Harmelings are proud of the AC and Heating installation and maintenance business they established in Lake Wales, FL. What started out as a small company with only a few employees has grown to a very successful business that is home to almost 25 full time employees. While Mom and Dad are still involved in the daily affairs of the business, it’s the “baby” of the family- Jason Harmeling – that has assumed the responsibility of President of this family run establishment. Walk through the halls and you’ll find Harmeling siblings, spouses, and cousins working everywhere from the front office to ordering parts and equipment. We are a family that loves to work together!
